The HC-230 Herbie Clip Kit is the most practical starter kit for anyone who works regularly with spring band clamps. It contains over 230 herbie clips across 15 sizes spanning 6mm to 30mm diameter, covering the most common hose, tube and fitting sizes used in automotive, irrigation, plumbing and workshop applications.
Herbie clips are one-ear stepless spring band clamps made from fire-resistant Nylon 6.6 (HB-V2 rated). They have no moving metal parts, so there's no risk of corrosion or seizure even after years in service. The double-jaw ratchet mechanism locks under load, and clips can be re-adjusted without replacement. Temperature range is -40C to +170C.
Manufactured in the UK by HCL Fasteners, the world's largest producer of non-metallic hose clips. Uniclamp is the sole Australian distributor. Herbie clips are UV resistant and compatible with most industrial solvents, petrols, oils, greases and common chemicals.
