The Bareco B-696 Ear Muffs are Class 5 hearing protection rated for high-noise agricultural and industrial environments. Tractor and machinery noise is one of the most common causes of preventable hearing damage in Australian farm workers, and Class 5 is the highest protection class available under the Australian Standard.
The B-696 is suited to tractor operators, slasher and mulcher operation, post hole digging, chainsaw use, and any farm or industrial task where machinery noise exceeds safe exposure levels. The individually adjustable ear cups ensure a proper seal for effective attenuation across different head sizes, and the helmet-compatible design means they can be worn with hard hats where both hearing protection and head protection are required.
