The 9960 Series 7579 is a dual filter head — the upper assembly section of our twin filter housings (7299, 8297 and 8299). Supplied as a service part for customers replacing a damaged or worn head while keeping their existing bowls, mounting bracket and filter elements.

Manufactured to specifications. Direct replacement for the head assembly on any 7299/8297/8299 twin filter setup, with no modifications required. Incorporates the inlet/outlet ports (1/2" UNF), bleed screws and primer pump mounting boss.

When to replace the head only

• Cracked head casting from impact or over-tightening
• Stripped port threads
• Persistent fuel weep that won't seal with new bowl gaskets
• Upgrading from older non-primed configurations to primed setups
