The 9960 Series 7296 type of filter is the most widely fitted diesel fuel filter element in the world. Used as original equipment and service replacement on countless trucks, tractors, marine engines, generators and stationary diesel installations — if you operate a CAV-pattern filter housing, this is almost certainly the element it takes.

The 7296 combines fuel filtration with water separation in a single replaceable element, protecting injection pumps and injectors from the particulate contamination and water ingress that cause the majority of fuel system failures.
