The Q-2 (part number B2667) is the 75HP slasher gearbox with a 1:1.47 gear ratio, suited to 4 to 6 foot slasher platforms on medium to larger tractors. The lower 1:1.47 ratio (compared to the 1:1.93 Q-2A) produces a less aggressive blade speed increase from PTO input, which can be preferable on heavier cutting conditions. Choosing Between the Q-2 and Q-2A

The 75HP range includes two gear ratio options. The Q-2 B2667 at 1:1.47 delivers a moderate speed increase and suits conditions where the blades need more torque and less top speed, such as heavy grass, thick scrub, or mixed terrain. The Q-2A B6667 runs a 1:1.93 ratio for higher blade speed in lighter cutting conditions.
