The T-1 (part number B9210) is a 40HP through-shaft slasher gearbox, the entry-level model in the T-series. The through-shaft design distinguishes the T-series from the Q-series: power enters one side, drives the gearbox output, and can continue through to a second implement connected on the other side. Through-Shaft Explained

On a standard Q-series gearbox, the PTO shaft connects on one side and the power goes directly to the blade. On the T-1 and other T-series gearboxes, the input shaft passes through the gearbox, so a second drive shaft can connect on the exit side to power an additional implement in-line. This is the preferred configuration for multi-implement setups on smaller tractors.
