The 9975 Series Bareco weld-on ball ends are replacement ball joint sockets for tractor top links and lower link arms. When a top link or lower link end fails — typically from impact damage or fatigue cracking — replacing the entire arm is expensive and often unnecessary. A weld-on ball end lets the operator cut off the damaged end and weld in a new one, restoring the original geometry at a fraction of the cost.

The round weld-in type ball ends are also supplied to manufacturers building tractor tow bars and custom hitch assemblies — providing a standard ball pivot for trailer drawbars and similar applications.
