The 9870 Series load rated yellow pin D-shackles are working-load tested for lifting and rated towing applications. The yellow pin paint marks the shackle as load rated and makes inspection straightforward — visible at a glance from across a yard or workshop.

The 10mm 1-tonne shackle is the legal requirement for car tow bars in Australia — fitting an unrated commercial shackle on a tow bar is non-compliant and can void insurance in the event of an incident.
