The 8800 Series V band clamps are W2 grade flange coupling clamps designed to join two matching V-flanged pipes — predominantly turbocharger to downpipe, downpipe to exhaust and intercooler piping connections on performance and modified diesel applications. The V profile draws the two flanges together axially as the clamp is tightened, giving a self-centring, leak-free joint that can be released and refitted as often as needed.

V band joints are the standard high-pressure exhaust and charge air connection on performance vehicles and motorsport, and increasingly on OEM diesel and petrol turbo applications. They are faster to release than a flange-and-bolt joint and re-seal reliably. Sizes are quoted in inches to match the imperial flange standards used across the industry, from 2.88 inch up to 8.08 inch. Detailed cross reference brochure available on application.
