Ezyclamps are worm-drive hose clamps made from engineering-grade nylon rather than metal. Manufactured in the UK by HCL Fasteners, they are suited to applications where a non-conductive, non-corrosive clamp is needed in tight spaces - including under-bonnet automotive, marine bilge systems, food processing and chemical handling.

Clamps can be fitted over the object and the screw or wing nut can be fitted last - this option is good for working in restricted areas. Screws can be tightened with an electric screwdriver, standard driver or socket wrench. Two screw options are available: standard (S) or wing screw (W), which can be hand-tightened without tools.

• PA66 (Nylon 66) - standard grade, max long-term temperature 125C
