The 9300 Series UP-01 ear clamp pincers are purpose-built for crimping 1-ear and 2-ear clamps onto hoses. Ear clamps require a pincer-style tool because the closure is formed by deforming a raised ear — once crimped, the ear flattens and locks the clamp permanently. A standard plier won't deliver the geometry or leverage needed for a clean, repeatable crimp.

Three pincer styles are stocked to suit different access situations. Front-closing is the standard workshop pincer — fastest and most ergonomic for open-access work. Side-closing pincers are for tight engine bay locations where front-access is blocked. Available variants
