The CR5006 is the replacement fuel filter / water separator element used across all single and twin filter assemblies stocked on this site.

The CR5006 combines two critical functions in one element: fuel filtration to remove particulates that would damage injectors and pumps, and water separation to coalesce water droplets and drop them into the bowl below for periodic draining. Both functions are essential for protecting modern diesel injection systems.

Service intervals

Replacement intervals vary by application, but typical guidance is:

• Agricultural tractors: every 250 hours or annually, whichever comes first
• Stationary diesel engines: every 500 hours or annually
• Marine diesel: annually, more often if fuel quality is suspect

Always replace the element when the bowl water level reaches the warning line, when fuel pressure drops noticeably, or when you suspect fuel contamination.
