9998 Series Rotary Hoe Blades suit Howard Rotavator Machines

Replacement rotary hoe blades for Howard Rotavator machines, available in Standard, Speed, and Long Shank profiles. The correct blade is identified by measuring the A dimension (radius from blade centre to blade tip) and B dimension (blade width at the fitting flange), plus the bolt hole diameter (1/2" or 5/8"). Blades are sold individually and boxed in lots of 20.

1/2" bolt hole blades

• B4001/B4002 - Standard, A=173mm, B=142mm, 8mm thick
• B8001/B8002 - Speed, A=205mm, B=130mm, 7mm thick

5/8" bolt hole blades

• B7001/B7002 - Standard, A=175mm, B=140mm, 8mm thick
• B9001/B9002 - Speed, A=210mm, B=145mm, 8mm thick
• B9003/B9004 - Long Shank, A=195mm, B=137mm, 8mm thick

Standard blades are general-purpose; Speed blades have a longer radius for higher surface speed at the blade tip, increasing cutting aggressiveness. Long Shank blades give additional depth penetration. Odd numbers are left-hand, even numbers are right-hand - rotary hoes require both in matched pairs. Grade 8 bolts are required for blade fitting.
