The 9960 Series 7298 is a single complete filter assembly with glass bowl and 1/2" UNF ports — a direct replacement for the discontinued CAV 5836B100 filter assembly. Widely used across older agricultural tractors, marine diesels and stationary engines fitted with CAV-pattern fuel systems.
The glass bowl design allows operators to inspect for water and contamination without dismantling the assembly. This is the preferred service replacement for any equipment originally fitted with a 5836B100 — installs in the same mounting position with no fuel line modifications.
