The 9960 Series 2765 is a replacement shallow glass bowl for fuel filter and water separator assemblies. The shallow profile suits installations with limited vertical clearance - typically tight engine bay configurations on smaller tractors and stationary diesel engines where the standard-depth 2764 bowl will not fit without the filter assembly fouling on adjacent components.

The glass bowl allows visual water inspection in the filter bowl without dismantling the assembly, which is particularly useful during pre-start checks on diesel equipment operating in wet or dusty conditions where water contamination of the fuel is a recurring risk.
Water in diesel fuel causes injector damage and engine hard-starting - being able to see the water level at a glance and drain it before starting prevents costly injector and pump repairs.
