9975 Series B-1866 Steel Pan Seat Suits very early tractors.
The 9975 Series B-1866 is a steel pan seat sized to suit very early tractors — pre-1960s machinery where the seat base is smaller than the modern universal pattern. Restorers of vintage Massey-Harris, Ferguson, McCormick, John Deere and other early tractors will recognise this profile as the closest available match to the original equipment.
Manufactured from heavy-gauge pressed steel and finished in baked enamel. Smaller footprint than the modern B-9640 full-size seat, with mounting holes positioned to suit older bracket spacings. Where mounting holes don't quite line up, the steel construction allows minor modification (drill new holes) without compromising seat strength.
Features
- Smaller footprint matching pre-1960s tractor seat bases
- Heavy-gauge pressed steel
- Baked enamel finish
- Suits restoration of vintage tractors and machinery
This is a restoration-grade replacement — not a modern suspension seat. For comfort upgrades on older tractors, consider mounting an aftermarket suspension base under the original pan seat.
For modern tractors, see the B-9640 (full size) or B-9645 (suspension).
