The Q-4 (part number B8667) is the 130HP slasher gearbox in the 9980 Series. Rated above the 100HP Q-3, the Q-4 is suited to large 6 to 8 foot slashers working in demanding conditions where the Q-3 may be at the limits of its capacity. Freight is paid to any destination in Australia.
The Q-4 fills the gap between the 100HP Q-3 and the 150HP Q-4B and T-series through-shaft gearboxes. For large-platform slashers that need more capacity than the Q-3 but do not require the through-shaft feature or the very high HP rating of the T-series, the Q-4 is the right model.
The 1:1.93 gear ratio is the standard build. If your application calls for a lower output speed and higher torque delivery, a 1:1.47 gear ratio and other rotation configurations are available on request. See the specification page for options. Add EP140 gear oil before first use. Spare parts available on application.
