The 9960 Series 6297 is the complete bolt and seal kit suiting all filter assemblies stocked on this site — including the 7290, 7297, 7298, 7299, 8297, 8298 and 8299 configurations. Supplied as a service component for customers performing filter assembly rebuilds or replacing damaged hardware.
A complete kit is significantly more cost-effective than sourcing individual fasteners, and ensures all bolts and seals are replaced together — important because partial bolt replacement on a stressed assembly can leave older fasteners as the weak link.
Use this kit when rebuilding any filter assembly, when replacing a corroded or stripped bolt, or when fitting a new head (7291 or 7579) to an existing bowl. Replacement filter elements sold separately.
