The 1003 Series VFT-01 is the purpose-built installation tool for Herbie Clips and the RT-01 is the matching removal tool. Herbie Clips are a Nylon 66 Clip used in food processing, brewing, dairy, pharmaceutical and laboratory plumbing — the smooth, nylon band is hygienic, will not damage soft hose and seats correctly on PVC, silicone and braided tubing.
The VFT-01 grips the clamp head and applies controlled tension as the locking lug is engaged, giving a repeatable installation that hand-tightening cannot match. The RT-01 releases the locking lug cleanly so the clamp can be removed without distorting the band or damaging the hose underneath.
