Bareco PTO safety clutches protect tractor drivelines and implement gearboxes from shock loads and overload damage. When torque exceeds the clutch's set limit — on sudden engagement, hitting a stump, or a blocked implement — the clutch slips rather than transmitting the full shock through the shaft and gearbox. This protects expensive components including the tractor's PTO shaft, implement input gearbox, and driveline joints from impact damage that can be costly and time-consuming to repair in the field.

Available in 40HP, 60HP, and 100HP torque ratings to match common tractor PTO power outputs. Bareco safety clutches are manufactured to suit standard 6-spline and 21-spline PTO shafts used on Australian tractors. Confirm your tractor's PTO spline count and the implement's input shaft specification before ordering.
