The Q-2A (part number B6667) is the 75HP slasher gearbox with a 1:1.93 gear ratio, delivering a higher blade speed output from 540 RPM PTO input than the Q-2 B2667. This ratio suits 4 to 6 foot slasher platforms in lighter to medium cutting conditions where blade tip speed is the priority. Freight is paid to any destination in Australia.
Both the Q-2 and Q-2A are 75HP gearboxes suited to the same platform size range, but they deliver different output speeds from the same 540 RPM PTO input. The Q-2A at 1:1.93 is the higher blade speed option, making it the more common choice for general pastoral slashing. The Q-2 B2667 at 1:1.47 is available where a lower output speed and higher torque is preferred.
For 75HP applications requiring an integral hub output, the Q-2B B86667 is available on this site. Add EP140 gear oil before first use. Spare parts available on request. Complete transmission kits (gearbox, friction clutch, PTO shaft) are in the Q8-9980 Series.
