A flexible extension tube allows access to grease nipples in tight or awkward locations that cannot be reached with a rigid coupler or standard grease gun nozzle. Common applications include trailer axle and suspension nipples tucked behind chassis rails, agricultural equipment pivot points inside enclosed frames, and machinery where the nipple faces away from the access side. At 4500 PSI working pressure, the L-850 is compatible with both manual hand-operated and air-operated grease guns under normal service loads.

Flexible tubes wear over time from repeated bending and exposure to grease and grime, and replacing a worn tube is cheaper than replacing the grease gun.
