The 4000WK is a Kale W3 hose clamp workshop kit containing the most commonly used sizes for general automotive servicing in a durable plastic carry case with a hex driver. W3 grade pairs an AISI 430 stainless band with stainless screw and housing, giving good engine bay corrosion resistance at a lower cost than full W4 marine grade.
The fully rolled solid band has no exposed slot edges, so it can be tightened either way without scoring soft hose. The kit covers radiator hose, heater hose, fuel line and small bore plumbing in a single case.
For marine, pool and chemical applications, step up to the 4200WK W4 all stainless kit. For top-up stock, the equivalent W3 clamps are available in boxes of 10 under the 4000 Series. For high-pressure turbo and intercooler connections, see the 7700 Series T bolt clamps.
