Ear Clamps & Crimp Clamps
Ear clamps and crimp clamps for automotive, industrial and OEM hose connections. Also known as single-ear clamps, double-ear clamps or stepless clamps — these single-use crimp clamps are the factory-fitted standard on automotive fuel lines, coolant hoses, heater circuits and fluid power connections.
Unlike adjustable worm drive clamps, ear clamps are crimped once with a swaging tool and permanently set. The result is 360° uniform contact with no pressure gaps — the preferred specification for any connection where leakage is not an option and a clean, low-profile finish is required.
When to use ear clamps
- Replacing factory-fitted crimp clamps on automotive fuel, coolant or heater hoses
- OEM-spec repairs where a worm drive clamp is not appropriate
- Pneumatic connections and fluid power lines requiring consistent clamping force
- Any application where tamper-evidence is required
